Large Scale T Cell Isolation Enables More Quality CAR T Cells: A Case Study of a Large Biotech

A large biotech evaluated Akadeum’s Human T Cell Leukopak Isolation Kit – GMP as an alternative to magnetic cell separation within a CAR T manufacturing workflow. Their goal was to reduce processing time, eliminate reliance on dedicated equipment, and improve cell recovery while enabling large-scale processing.

Using microbubble-based negative selection, the team achieved rapid, in-bag T cell isolation directly from leukopak material while maintaining high cell quality and enabling integration into downstream manufacturing.
