SAY FAREWELL TO DEAD CELLS.

WHY BACSTM DEAD CELL REMOVAL MICROBUBBLES?

UNCOVER MORE MEANINGFUL BIOLOGY

Tired of damaged cells? Our gentle workflow isolates cells in their natural state.

ENJOY HIGHER RECOVERY

Keep more cells of interest with over 86% recovery of viable cells to perform more studies to gain greater depth of knowledge.

INCREASED VIABILITY

Get more out of samples that would otherwise be discarded.

ACCOMPLISH MORE

Save time with a 25 minute protocol, have more time to focus on your other research.

DO MORE WITH LESS CELLS

Maximum performance maintained with as few as 500k cells.

FREE YOURSELF FROM LIMITATION

No longer worry about being limited by magnets, losing cells to clogged columns, or purchasing costly equipment.

Akaduem's Buoyancy Activated Cell Sorting (BACS™) microbubble approach for depleting dead cells from biological samples uses a fast, easy, and exceptionally gentle workflow. Microbubbles maintain the health and viability of analytes of interest while effectively and efficiently depleting dead and dying cells.

Let's Talk About Dead Cell Removal

Leveraging Apoptosis

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Akadeum’s targeted depletion of dead cells is achieved through the selective capture of cells with exposed phosphatidylserine (PS) using Annexin V conjugated BACS™ microbubbles.

Once mixed with the sample, the Annexin V BACS™ microbubbles capture dead cells and float them to the surface for removal, leaving the untouched cells of interest happy, healthy, and ready for downstream use.
